Legacy.

This isn’t about my legacy, it is about yours.

I can help you identify and create your legacy, whatever that may mean to you.

I want to make a difference and I do that by inspiring people to create an amazing life for themselves. My ‘legacy’ is all the people out there doing just that. I don’t need them to remember my name. I don’t need a statue erected in my honor or have a hospital wing named after me.

But what about you? It doesn’t matter what stage you are at in your life right now. What matters is that you want to make a difference in some way. When something matters, we get motivated, seriously motivated in ways which are almost beyond belief. You end up achieving more than you believed possible.

This isn’t about you or me, it is about all of us. The world needs us now more than ever to step up an play our part, whatever that means.

So I invite you to join me on a journey into the unknown. It will take you out of your comfort zone but that is where the magic happens.

PS Maybe you’d actually like a statue of yourself in your home town/city? And that would be awesome! Imagine what level of legacy you must have created for people to want to do that?

“And as you shine your own light, you unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

-Coach Carter

Part of my work with you would involve sharing various resources. These include articles, videos, audios, movies and social media content. My aim is to get you thinking; to open your mind up to new possibilities; to trigger thoughts and ideas. Some of the concepts will be straight-forward, others will be more challenging! All I ask is that you approach this with an open mind. Some things will resonate, others won’t. And that is ok. Maybe they will resonate with you tomorrow. Maybe they won’t.

The line above from the movie ‘Coach Carter’ starring Samuel L Jackson, comes from a poem by Marianne Williamson called, ‘Our Deepest Fear’.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
